Prof. Chiba specializes in Greek Philosophy, especially Aristotle’s dialectic, natural sciences and metaphysics, and Apostle Paul’s philosophy of faith. His recent publications on Aristotle include ‘Aristotle on Essence and Defining-Phrase in His Dialectic’ (in D. Charles, ed., Definition in Greek Philosophy, Oxford 2010) and ‘Aristotle on Heuristic Enquiry and Demonstration of What It Is’ (in C. Shields, ed., The Oxford Handbook of Aristotle, Oxford 2012).
