wishes to appoint a
Professor in Philosophy
Beginning August, 1st, 2008 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The professors duties will comprise research and teaching in philosophy.
The professor is also expected to participate in knowledge exchange with
society, to raise external funding, participate in doctoral training and be
responsible for the educational guidance of assistant professors.
Qualification requirements
Emphasis will be laid on the following:
- Documentation of a high degree of original scientific production at an international level
- Documented teaching qualifications at all levels in at least one main area of philosophy
- Experience in research management and evaluation
- Experience with fund raising

applications must include a complete and numbered list of publications
stipulating which works the applicant wishes to be taken into consideration.
The maximum number of publications submitted is twelve. These must be

Once the deadline for applications has been reached, the Dean will set up an
expert assessment committee to consider the appointment concerned. All
applicants will be informed who is serving on the committee, and individual
applicants will be afforded the opportunity to comment on the part of the
assessment relating to themselves before an appointment is announced. Please

Remuneration and conditions of employment as per the current agreement
between the Ministry of Finance and the appropriate trade union. Assistant
professors receive a pensionable supplement of DKK 45.793,53 p.a.
